A senior leader may be available immediately. However, this is not always the case. Leave your details and a brief summary of the query with a member of office staff, and the appropriate person will ring you to arrange an appointment.

Who are the senior leaders?

Mrs Trudi Bartle - Executive Principal

Mr David  Irving - Head of Academy

Mrs Selina Midgely-Wright - Vice Principal

I wish to speak to a member of staff about a safeguarding issue Who do I speak to?

In the first instance, ask to speak to our designated safeguarding and welfare officer, Mrs Johnson. If she is unavailable, please ask to speak to the next senior member of staff. A senior leader will always be available if the matter is urgent. If it isn't, you can ask to make an appointment.

All conversations will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.

I wish to speak to a teacher.

If you wish to speak to a teacher, please come to the academy at 8:30. Teachers must be ready to teach from 8:45 so they would be unavailable at that point.

If it is a quick message, please see the office staff who will happily pass this on.

Very often, a senior leader is on the yard before the start of the day. You can of course speak to that person about anything that is on your mind.

Where should I park?

There is parking outside the school next to the south facing yard. Please drive extremely slowly and carefully as this area gets very busy before and after the academy day.

I require disabled access. Where should I go?
Disabled access is through the front gate at the academy. There is a slope leading up to the entrance to reception. If you require assistance, just ask when you buzz the intercom. A member of the office staff will be happy to help

How do I buy new uniform?

Staff in the office will be happy to help. We have most items, but if not, we will happily order what you need.
