  • Open agian on Monday 8th January

    4th January 2018

    The academy will open fully to all pupils on Monday 8th January. Breakfast club opens at 8am as usual. 8.30 FS1 and everybody else 8.45.

  • Children in Need

    17th November 2017

    Today is Children in Need day. We have been wearing spotty clothes! In assembly, we have thought about how lucky we are, and how our donations can help those children less fortunate than ourselves.

    We raised an impressive £193.

     

  • Anti-bullying week

    17th November 2017

    This week has been anti-bullying week. We have been thinking about what a bully looks like (could be anybody) and the types of bullying which can happen. However, we have also thought about the opposite. We have been thinking about kindness and love. Friendship and care. We have thought about how we are all different and all equal.

    We all fit togther.

     

     

     

     

  • Admissions proposal 2019/2020

    16th November 2017

    The Parks Academy is consulting on its admission arrangements for 2019/2020; a full copy of the full policy is attached. We are seeking comment on a reduction of the Pupil Admission Number (PAN) from 50 to 45. Any comments should be sent to Fiona Arnott, Chaor of the EAB. The last day for the receipt of comments is 31 January 2018.

     

  • Harvest Festival Food Bank Donation

    9th November 2017

    Thank you very much for donating your Harvest Festival Collection to Hull Foodbank. We appreciate each and every item to help people in need in our communities. We collected 98kgs which is the equivalent of 194 meals.

  • Walking Bus

    The first day of our walking bus was amazing! The bus stop at Limedane (behind Artic Ranger pub) at 8am

    The stops are:

    Gildane 8:05

    Dibsdane 8:07

    Bondane 8:10

    Axdane 8:15

    All children on the walk will be at school in time for breakfast club.

  • Stars of the week

    29th September 2017

    Each week we have two very special assemblies where we congratulate our stars of the week. We split our assemblies two ways; FSU and KS1, and KS2.

    This week was extra special because it included some pupils who had achieved some very special awards. These couldn't make it to our termly Leading Learners assembly.

    We had some VIP certificates. These are awarded to pupils who achieved 100% for the whole of last year. They will have a VIP week before half term! Special treatment! This will include no queueing for
