    We are delighted to confirm the date for our fantastic NAPA (northern Academy of Performing Arts) perfomance this year.

    Y4 Holtby, Y5 Sullivan, Y6 Buttrick

    Monday 12th December. KS2 hall. 10.30. Parents/Carers and families please come along!

  • Children in Need

    Children in Need this year is our second charity fund raising event. Last year we supported many differrent charities, both local, (eg Breathe fo Cameron) and national ( eg British Heart Foundation). In total, we rasied over £1000, reaching our target! This year we are aiming for £1500! It starts on Friday with Children in Need Day. Nice and simple, wear spotty clothes and bring in a minimum donation of 50p!

    As ever the Swap Shop has been a massive success. We have appointed some new staff to serve the customers.

    We just thought we'd share with you this photo of our amazing Y6s today. The whole learning environment atmosphere was superb. Happy, proud, achieving pupils.

  • Swap Shop shop keepers appointed!

    Two members of the Academy Council interviewed and appointed four super Swap Shop shop keepers today! They asked lots of very tricky questions about attendance, honesty and whether they are patient with pupils who cannot decide! The Swap Shop will be open every lunchtime for pupils to spend their credits.

    Thaks too to our parent EAB members who assisted.

    We also appointed four Y6 cleaning station operatives. They are hard working and can get on without any fuss! They will ealso earn 30 credits per week!

  • Y3/4 pantomime

    We are delighted to confirm that Y3 and Y4 (All three classes) will be going to the amazing Fruit Space theatre again this year to see Dick Whittington. It's a proper close up, amateur dramatics production and again, we are their exclusive audience! Remember last year? What an experience!

  • Y6 working with our secondary partners

    16th October 2016

    On Friday, a group of Y6 pupils from The Parks visited Sirius North, along with pupils from other local primary schools. They spend the day working on very challegning English and Maths objectives, designed to stretch the most able.

    Pupils had a great day. We look forward to forging very strong links across the curriculum with our partners from Sirius North.
